The study shows that 9-oxo-octadecadienoic, a compound found in tomatoes, has anti-dyslipidemic affects. The researchers focused on extracts that deal with dyslipidemia, a condition that’s a result of an abnormal amount of lipids, like fat or cholesterol, in the blood stream.[1]
