These are great. The gels are only dextromethorphan (the active ingredient in Robitussin) as opposed to a multi-medication mix pill and they’re infinitely preferable to that disgusting-flavored cough syrup.

The only downside I encountered – the pills can occasionally get stuck in my throat; they certainly require more water than most pills I’ve taken.

These are a pretty good deal compared to the in-store price for this pack, but you can find a generic version that’s a better deal on Amazon.

I recently had a sinus infection that turned into a TERRIBLE cough-fest that kept me up at night and lasted for 8 weeks and I must have spent close to $200 buying various cough suppressants at my local drugstore in order to try to get some sleep but none of it did a darn thing to help my cough …UNTIL I discovered these. I had found out about this product when I googled “best cough suppressants” and saw this mentioned on many different threads so I went to about 10 different stores looking for it to NO AVAIL. Then I found out that many stores don’t stock it due to abuse (apparently if you are stupid enough to take the entire bottle it is a hallucinogen)…SO, once the druggies discovered this I guess it became a liability so many stores pulled it off their shelves !! Once again the idiots have ruined a product and made it almost impossible to find for people that really need it !!

Whenever I have bronchitis, I use these cough gels. They work better for me than taking Mucinex DM. I take regular Mucinex along with the cough gels. They help my coughing at night as long as I don’t wait too long to begin, and I don’t let the cough get too bad. Not much helps if I do that. Also, since I am diabetic, I can take the cough medicine in the gels when I could not use the liquid. The sugar free Robitussin liquid tastes really bad to me.
